Hi, I’m back with my current loves! I realized I haven’t done this in a long time. As usual, most of it is beauty-related. I’m going to sneak in another book favorite AND a TV show!

A’pieu Air Fit Cushion Blusher – My sister got this for me when she visited Korea earlier this year. It’s my first cushion blush & I just love it! I love how you can gradually build its intensity on your cheeks, especially on days when you just want a subtle hint of blush, you know what I mean? Also, I find that non-powder blushes are easier to work with. Maybe it’s just a personal prefence but it’s more natural-looking for me.

A Darker Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab – I stumbled upon this book while aimlessly browsing at Fully Booked a couple of months ago. I was just drawn by it, for some reason. I recently finished its third installment and my, oh, my what a good read. The world-building is magical. To give you a glimpse, ADSoM is about a special magician who can travel between four parallel universes all called London. To distinguish one from the other, each London is named after four colours such as Red, White, Grey, and Black.

I don’t want to say much, in fear of spoiling anyone who wants to read it. But I highly, highly enjoyed the book! I’m planning on writing a separate review for this, so stay tuned!

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte & Poreless Foundation – I’ve heard lots of good reviews about this product before I even tried it out myself. I don’t usually opt for Matte foundations even though I have oily skin, so I was a bit doubtful this would work for me. I’ve never been completely wrong in my life, though – cause it worked like a charm! It wasn’t drying as I feared it would be. Extra plus points, cause it’s affordable compared to the other ones in the market!

Catrice Prime and Fine Contouring Palette – I’ve never been a contour type of gal. In fact, this is my first contour palette. With face products, I tend to go for the cream types just because I feel like I have more control during application, so when I tried this out and liked it (the highlight, not so much), I was surprised!

Vaseline Lip Therapy – This is my current holy grail lip product. I’ve been having a chapped lips episode for quite a while now and I’m a bit picky with lip balms – but this lip therapy is so moisturizing. I apply this before I go to bed and I wake up with nourished, healthy-looking lips! It’s also my go-to lip product when I’m feeling lazy!

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara & NYX Stockholm Soft Matte Lip Cream – Speaking of being lazy, I’ve rediscovered my love for these two bad boys who have never failed me. Lately, I can’t be bothered to touch my brows so instead I use this tinted brow mascara. It locks the brow hairs in place and gives enough color!

As for the Soft Matte lip cream, on days I feel like I need a pop of color, this is my go-to lip product. It’s the perfect nude peachy pink for me. I just put on a bit on the center of my lips and I blend it out using my trusty fingers.

I know both of these products have already been a part of my monthly favorites before (also, interestingly, both of which are gifted to me by my boyfriend, Cesar) but I can’t get enough of ’em. They make getting ready so much easier so I figured they deserve a spot on here again.

Oh. Another thing I’ve been loving lately – and I can’t believe I’m going to say this – is How I Met Your Mother. My boyfriend binged watched it a few weeks ago and got me curious and now, here I am, undeniably hooked.

Anyway, my sister and I are about to watch the second season of Stranger Things now! We’re both so excited so I have to end this post here.

I hope you’re having a good day!
